Summer Holidays
Created by PAUL TERRY one month agoWhat I can say is that having known Simon for many years more so in the 1990s/2000s when we went on many holidays together. Tez, Bunny and Farmer were the adventurers. We went to Tenerife, Island Hopping thru the Greek Isles, Rhodes and a few more not to mention. Nights sitting on the wall of the beach drinking Metaxa 3 Star which is all we could afford from plastic cups before we hit the night clubs. Simon was " fun" always laughing and joking. Walking around the pool in his tight Black Speedo Trunks with that " silly grin " on his face with his 3 Euro Sunglasses on. Simon was always game for a laugh. Whilst also working for AJ Mechanical and Wednesbury Fabrications he always did his best. Having lost touch over the last few years for one reason or another I was saddened to hear of his ill health but I sought to find him and did so in Walsall Manor Hospital. I visited him many times after his cardiac arrest, up until he was admitted again to hospital recently. Simon was a loveable guy, very welcoming and always fun to be with especially when the sun was on his back and on some foreign holiday where we all excelled. We smashed it mate & I'm sure gonna miss that cheeky grim of yours and your sense of humour mate. Fly High Si in the Sky.. Tez 2024
